Runbit turns the outdoors into a playground. We designed and built a gamified adventure app where families and friends explore their city by escaping monsters, catching animals, and collecting stars. All powered by real movement.
The app transforms everyday walks and jogs into treasure hunts. GPS-driven game mechanics are layered over the real world, so every street, park, and neighbourhood becomes part of the adventure. Built for kids, parents, and anyone who wants to move more without it feeling like exercise.
The city as your game board
Move more by making it fun
Most fitness apps talk to people who already want to exercise. Runbit is for everyone else. If the activity is genuinely fun, people do it without thinking of it as a workout.
We built the game loop around short, rewarding moments: spot something on the map, move towards it, collect it, unlock the next thing. The physical movement is the mechanic, not the point. The result is an app that gets kids dragging their parents outside.
